The current challenges related to the AURORA project were presented at The European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2018 in the second week of April in Vienna.
This international meeting provides the main European forum for the dissemination of new research and technological development in geo science and, in particular, in earth observation.
Two pico presentations and a poster focused on technical details of the fusion process being testing in AURORA were presented. This was also a good occasion to introduce the AURORA call for ideas, since 15,075 scientists from 106 countries participated,
The presentations aimed to show how acomplete data fusion is able to reduce data volume without loss of information and to put an important focus on the full exploitation of the atmospheric sentinel data.
